Some new designs from Altar just upped and they’re fucking sick, as expected. Pretty much the raddest shirts around.
SWOOP SOME HERE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
If you don’t get on these rad designs, go ahead and punch yourself in the face.
Probably my favorite Royal HC Quick clip so far. The potential to fuck up on this is huge, so this one really stood out in my mind. FOAD dudes always kill it.
If you haven’t checked out the new FOAD Beanies, scope them here.
It’s been a real long time since we’ve seen any content from Tyler Nakamoto, but it look like he’s been staying at it. Judging by the “V1” title, there will be more of these to come. Definitely looking forward to that. Flat double bar was crazy.
FOAD is a Salt Lake City Fixed gear crew with an emphasis on Fixed Gear Freestyle. Their passion for the sport is strong along with their sense of goofing off and always having fun. The crew is always a blast to hang out with. But along with that, the dudes are really good an maneuvering a bike too. Although, if you didn’t already know all of this, you’re fucking up. Duders just dropped new products and they look legit. Pick up some merch here. Oh, and this promo video for the stuff is sick as fuck. Fuck Off And Die.
I re-discovered this edit yesterday as I was doing some digging around for some of the sMc crew’s old edits. Our dudes Robert Rice and Jacob Santos were in this one along with a bunch of our other homies. The crew was killer and the editing was on point. The songs went really good with the riding too. It’s a shame this crew isn’t around anymore and most of them deserted the Fixed Gear scene. But none the less, the video was really sick. Everybody went hard. Just a bunch of friends having fun on bikes, that’s what it’s all about.
As I’ve started attending Cal State Long Beach this school year, trips to my favorite shop, The Workshop, have been more frequent. The shop is situated in the tight knit community of Bixby Knolls, one of the nicer areas of Long Beach.
This was a really nice surprise. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from Tommy, but clearly he’s been staying at it. Really dialed tricks and the ender was so killer. Lets hope to see more from the whole 209 Cogs crew this year!
For this upcoming spring break, Zane Meyer, Steven Jensen, Jonathan Davis, RSK, Jason Sellers, Jakob Santos, Devon Lawson, Josh Boothby, Colby Elrick, and myself are taking a trip to Thailand for the upcoming Can’t Fool the Youth 3 premiere + FGFS trick competition on April 5th. We’re going to be filming for an upcoming Can’t Fool the Youth road trip edition as well. So stoked to have this opportunity to go with my friends and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of Zane and Bombtrack Bicycle Co. See you then Bangkok!
Jacob Ruff with CSK had a little custom work done with a sprocket + sprocket guard. A very good idea that hasn’t necessarily been available for Fixed Gear Freestyle, let alone splined drive systems. Designs are being thrown around and it’s still a work in progress at the moment, but he says he hopes to get it out “sooner than later, but we all know how that goes.” Check out the full post at HAMMERDOWN.
Royal HC quick clips are always fire. This one features Joe Mckeag hitting a wall 180 on a new spot in Long Beach. Here’s what Royal had to say:
“One of the first pros to be on royal HC, Joe Mckeag hits a local Long Beach wall (filmed by JBall). I was so happy to have this guy on royal HC a while ago and am still to this day. His style has inspired many riders to the point where I see other riders handling a bike just like Joe. His skill on any bike, not just FGFS, is incredible. Keep an eye out for Joe in the upcoming FGFS video Stay Strapped. You know it’s going to be good.”
