I visited him in Seattle in October 2010. I thought I lost these photos on my old hard drive, but recently I found some of them. This trip is one of the greatest memories of my life because it was my first time visiting a local scene abroad and meeting local riders there. Looking back now, I realize that this trip truly became part of my roots.

Slovak boy and Masterbike Co. teammate Jakub Bruch visited me last August. Here are some pictures from a little sesh we had in my hood. I guess he was the first person to ride this spot on a fixed gear, even though it was already well known among BMX riders.

Me (84kick), Andy Sparks and Kozo are hosting a fixed gear trick competition, “THE SAMURAI TRICK COMP,” in Tokyo! Maybe you think, “Why Andy Sparks?” Last month, I met Andy in Fukuoka and told him about this idea. He liked it and said, “I will come to Tokyo!” So I thought, OK, we have to do it! August in Japan is super hot, so we will start in the evening. Around 15 riders already entered. I’m really excited!
Last time, I decided to have no sponsors. But this time, Andy and I talked a lot, and we decided to have sponsors for the young riders. I asked my friends who always support us, and they said yes right away. I’m so happy! Thank you so much, everyone. I really appreciate it! Some riders from overseas will also join this time.
