While Bombay was filming for his recent Master edit, he was also having photos shot at most of the spots he was doing tricks at. I love a photo gallery and am stoked on how clean these pictures turned out. Full gallery after the jump and don’t forget to follow Bombay on IG!
Bombay is Thailand’s last stand. Once upon a time, Thailand had one of the highest concentrations of FGFS riders in the early 2010’s and it quickly became one of the most desired travel destinations for FGFS pro riders. Fast forward 10 years and the scene has fizzled out. The 100’s of riders that once flooded the streets and parks of Thailand are nowhere to be found, but as the dust settles, a lone Bombay Chakrist stands. Not only has he stood the test of time, he has refined his craft to perfection.
Bombay has spent a while filming this new edit for Master and I’m honored that he sent it through to post on the SMC channel. He’s been in the scene for a long time now and he still continues to progress and impress me everytime I see clips. Big shoutout to Bombay and make sure to follow him on his new account HERE because his old account was deleted!
A first of its kind, we listened to the people and made a 700c Trick Track Courttek V2 game of BIKE happen between myself and Max Corcoran while he was in town!
All of the Courttek V2 riders and colorways are officially revealed. The worldwide lineup is heavy with well deserving names, including Devan Gallagher, Satoshi Hashimoto, Max Corcoran, Jakub Bruch, and myself. not only are the colorways themselves cool, but I love seeing how each person built their bike and the personality that goes into every bike and portrait. Full gallery with bike and riding shots after the jump!
Courttek V2’s are still in pre-order, but not for much longer. Grab one on the Master site HERE before you’ll never be able to again!
Another Courttek V2 edit spawns! This time around we’ve got the fixed gear nomad himself Jakub Bruch on his new signature Wine Red Courttek V2 build showcased by the lovely Satoshi behind the lens. Jakub is one of my favorite riders to watch because he’s pushing the envelope of pegless jibs. The front pedal feeble 180 back foot pedal feeble at 0:49 and the feeble switch foot ender at 1:58 were two major standout tricks for me. Everything else is dripping in style too.
Jackson is back from his hiatus to give us an appropriately timed long term Courttek review! He goes over what he’s liked about the Courttek over his last 2 years riding it and gives some insight into the new Courttek V2 drop!
2nd up on the Master Courttek promo edits to be released is Satoshi’s! His silky smooth riding is always a pleasure to watch and his veteran status in the scene deserves some serious recognition.
Satoshi went with a classic 3Rensho inspired design with a beautiful bright orangish reddish paint job. Surely inspired by his old Trick Track build.
Pick up Satoshi’s signature colorway on the Master site here!
THE DAY HAS COME. The long awaited Master Courttek V2 is here for pre order! Along with this news and 6 colorways we’re introduced to the brand new Master 2025 Trick Track team lineup which includes:
“The wait is over. The Master Bike Co Courttek is back! For the V2 we have reinforced the seat tube cutout, changed to integrated headset and have added 2 new sizes to the lineup (size 48 and 58). Additionally, the frameset can be purchased in brakeless or v-brake configurations. Frames now come with matching 700c chopstick forks as well as headset and seatpost collars included. Our team riders put in countless hours riding and tweaking our factory samples to perfect the frame’s geometry and durability in order to create the ultimate tricktrack riding experience.
Every element of the frame has been carefully crafted with intention and precision. The Courttek frame can accommodate tires up to 45c+ with ample barspin clearance, and it features one of the shortest rear ends on the market, ensuring exceptional maneuverability and control. While the Courttek’s styling and design pay homage to the classic track frames of the past, it has been expertly engineered to address the shortcomings and design flaws of earlier bike models.
From the materials used to the carefully designed geometry, every aspect of the Courttek frame has been selected and crafted with the rider’s experience in mind. The result is a highly responsive and versatile frame that is perfect for riders who demand the best in both performance and style.
