FGFS UK – Meeting Edith aka Ediee

The UK is one of my favorite places to visit, London especially. When I tripped out there in August for non-biking reasons, I managed to meet up with and hang out with the London fixed gear crew more than I anticipated (which I was ecstatic about) and had the chance to meet a few faces I’ve only seen online, one of them being Edith aka Ediee.

For starters, Edith is an absolute sweetheart. She trekked far and wide with two bikes on the tube just so I had a bike to ride. She brought out the 26″ Airwolf for herself and brought a 700c ESB for me. That was s nice of her, I felt bad but was extremely grateful. She was absolutely killing it on the Airwolf too, I’d love to see her on a more modern setup. Here are some pics I got of her on my first day out with the London crew on my film cam:

Next, I think Edith is one of the biggest future stars of the sport in the UK and has incredible potential to take things far. Her bike control and style are something you can’t teach, so with a little refinement and a helping hand I truly believe Edith can go far. You can see the BMX influence shine through and there is so much natural swag that comes out. I’ve seen the clips but it was great to see in person. Here are some pics I snagged on my real cam during another session in the city:

It was an honor meeting you Edith and I hope you and Bean continue to lead London into a new era of trick riding, y’all need it cause there’s so much skill there!!
