Throwback | Alec Aranowitz Dirt Jump

This has always been one of my favorite photos to come from old sMc fam Alec Aranowitz. The Bluffs dirt jumps in Costa Mesa were a regular spot on our old agenda, and was always a blast to ride. He doesn’t push fixed anymore, but we still keep in contact and he plans to ride BMX again. This photo was taken by Junho Park while filming for our old “Full Length” video.

Jackson Wallace | HEY!

This edit was real sick. A name that hasn’t shined in the spotlight too much doing it big with it. A lot of creative unconventional tricks throughout this. Filmed and edited really well too. My personal favorite was the really long duster at 1:10. Dig this one!

Phil Arellano | Jib Nation

Phil has been real busy shooting rad photos lately for Lockedcog that he hasn’t put out anything of himself in forever. This part is real good and Phil has progressed a ton since his last edit. Check this out for sure, second to last clip was too sick and intro shots were really nice.

Checking In | Christian Ustarroz And His Custom Whip

It’s been a while since I’ve met up with my buddy Christian. He had a rim to sell me, so it was a perfect opportunity to head up to LA and meet up with him at his local bike shop, Golden Saddle Cyclery, to buy a rim, shoot some video, and snag some photos of his sweet new paint job on a custom frame, dubbed, the “Toe-Breaker.” Of course I’m not as good at taking pictures as Prolly, but you get the idea. No doubt, this is a beautiful build.  More photos after the jump.
