I realized that I still have unreleased pics from our Ruff Netherlands trip in 2023 (saving a lot of it for when the Ruff full length releases), but I have some stuff safe for release in the vaults still. Here’s a few off my 35mm during our bridge session.
Alongside the FGFS and Trick Track events that Balance is throwing this coming June is a Fixed specific photography competition! The winners will receive clothing vouchers, a goodie bag with accessories and will be featured in a magazine.
This is open to Digital & Film (they will be prizes for both categories)

Wheel Talk has been staying super consistent with content lately bringing tons of pictures of everyone. Here’s a rad one of Taishi throwing a well extended tuck-no hander in an alley way. More photos here.
Wolfdrawn just posted up this sequence he shot of myself hitting this 5 Cab while out filming in Arizona last January. A lot of work went in to get this clip and it took a toll on my body early in the trip, but still stoked I ended up getting it. Check out the clip in the full edit!
Stoked on this new one from Wheel Talk of a good portion of the bay area squad hitting up a DIY skate spot that looks insanely hard to ride. Nevertheless, they made it work and got some sick footage there while definitely having a good time hanging out. For how tight and slippery that tranny was, Slum and Boothby managed to get a bunch of rad tricks down. Along with this sick video, Dave Beard got some really incredible pictures of the day too. Worth a few looks for sure!
The whole Turf crew recently seshed Soma Skatepark and got a ton of photos from the day. Digging this one of Ed nosing over a hubba. More shots up on Wheel Talk. Photo by Derek Chamberlain.
Forgot to post this one up, but here’s a sick photo of Matt busting a huge footplant drop over a ledge for Stay Strapped. If you still for some reason haven’t picked up a copy, now’s your chance cause they’re only 5 bucks! Crispy photo by Phil Arellano.
Dave Beard has been consistently releasing his photos the past few weeks through his new series, “Slackin“. So many gems and so many rad shots throughout all the posts. Check em’ all out here!
Here’s a sick new photo series coming from Dave Beard featuring a combination of lifestyle and action shots with the Turf Mob and friends. Ever since he made the move up North he’s produced some really nice shots of all the dudes up there. Click here for the full set!
A few days ago we all went riding in HB, and everybody was going in. It was Calvin’s first time riding in a while and first thing he says to us is “I think I can get on that rail”. We all looked at each other and weren’t really sure if he meant it or not, because what’s not apparent in the picture is the bike length gap that you have to hop in order to get on that rail. Sure enough, Calvin pulled off this smith and the crowd went wild. SO insane. Photo by Phil Arellano.
