MATT SPENCER | WELCOME TO HOLD FAST

Matt has been putting in some serious work on the Hold Fast frame he’s been riding for a bit now. His creative use of spots is now further widened with his recent addition of pegs and a brake making for some really fucking sick riding. So much stuff to call out in here like the 1:33, 1:41, 2:31, and so much more. He even brought back some classic Matt Spencer steez in the intro. Really hyped on that. So much style. Watch this right now. Maybe a couple times to catch some things you didn’t notice the first time too.

“My Life Is Back On Trick” Entries

Simple & Superb is hosting an online video contest for the Taiwan FGFS population in order to help promote the sport in the country a bit. Here’s a couple entries I came across that are pretty sick. Only two days left to submit if you’re in Taiwan!

Potential | Aaron Keokham, Riga Raw, Chainminator MY Team

Here’s a few videos I found of some dudes who have some serious potential.

Aaron Keokham with a parking lot solo dolo of him dialing in some tricks. Homie’s been busy with school so it’s good to see he’s still finding time to ride.

Riga Raw is a compilation of a crew out of somewhere in Europe at one of their comps I posted a little while ago along with some street clips and partying. Pretty sick.

I’ve never heard of Chainminator MY, but it looks like they’re forming a little team and added some dudes with some skills for sure.

Norazlan Aziz going in. Also doin’ it for Proto Retention System.

Arif Safuan with a dialed fakie wheelie.

BLISSTAPE V.2

Corey San Agustin just dropped the second installment of “Blisstapes”. These have yet to disappoint. So many solid iPhone clips from such a variety of riders with different styles makes for a really entertaining edit to watch a few times over. Too much pegless sickness going on in here. Soundtrack on point too. If you missed the first one, check it out here!

CSK Jam

Well, the CSK Jam went off on Sunday, to say the least. So many FGFS dudes showed up from all over LA and more. It was easily one of the sickest FGFS events ever. The vibes were great, the riding was intense, and spirits were high. Huge shout out to Jacob Ruff and Matt Spencer for organizing such a great event. Fixed gear freestyle is alive and well in southern California. Ratpack Lucas was there capturing the whole event, so I’m very excited to see how it comes together.

This was the only picture I managed to get while we were at the first spot, and to give you an idea of how many people showed up, there were still a ton of kids that were out of frame.
