Bike Check | Jacob Santos’ Concept Assassin
Jacob is part of our sMc family and one of the dudes I hang out and ride with the most. He’s one of the nicest people you’ll meet and also happens to shred on a bike. He just sized up to a medium Concept Assassin instead of a small and gave it a rad paint job. The bike is beyond dialed and rides really well. See after the jump for a rundown and more pictures.

Checking In | Christian Ustarroz And His Custom Whip
It’s been a while since I’ve met up with my buddy Christian. He had a rim to sell me, so it was a perfect opportunity to head up to LA and meet up with him at his local bike shop, Golden Saddle Cyclery, to buy a rim, shoot some video, and snag some photos of his sweet new paint job on a custom frame, dubbed, the “Toe-Breaker.” Of course I’m not as good at taking pictures as Prolly, but you get the idea. This was a really nice surprise. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from Tommy, but clearly he’s been staying at it. Really dialed tricks and the ender was so killer. Lets hope to see more from the whole 209 Cogs crew this year!

Corey has a real unique style with weird tricks and an open mind. He does tricks nobody even thinks about, this trick is a great example. Killing it for Destroy. One hell of a game changer to finish off the 2013 year. Almost every clip is banger material. I kept expecting the video to end after every trick cause I thought it was the ender.
