This was a super unexpected drop over the weekend! Our dude Zach Babinski just dropped a heater of a solo video for Merritt BMX. I’m not just saying this because we don’t see many web edits anymore, but Zach’s riding is super refreshing to watch. There aren’t too many people sending themselves these days and that’s pretty much all Zach is programmed to do. There are some MASSIVE sends in this and I’m so here for it.
Not only is Zach not afraid to throw himself off anything he can find, he can toss the bars whatever way he wants. His natural barspin is to the left, so pay close attention while you watch this. He has a lot of switch bars in this that look just as good as his regular bars. Oh yeah, that ender is a switch barspin by the way.
He’s currently recovering from a gnarly leg break, so flood the comments of the edit with some love for Zach cause he deserves it. WELL DONE MY GUY.
After what feels like an eternity since it’s initial previewing at SMC 7, Jackson has finally finished this masterpiece that is Nowhere Fast, Somewhere Slow. I’m glad Jackson took his time with this though. It’s nearly an entirely different video from it’s initial version and I think we’ve got an instant classic on our hands.
The talent in this is really fun. We’ve got Jackson, Chase, Evan, Ramona, Macee, Parker, and other friends that we all either know and love or are learning about for the first time. We’ve got a combination of street track riding, crit racing, and insanely high level Trick Track tricks from Jackson and Chase.
All this footage is mixed and matched in such a fun way too. I think Jackson pushed some barriers in editing style and really went for something different. It’s impressive both on a creative level and a technical level and kept my eyes glued the whole time.
This will be on repeat for a while for me. Absolutely crushed it Jackson + gang!
