While I haven’t shared any pictures yet of my new Ruff build yet, i thought I’d show off the stem I’ve been running first. Volume was kind enough to send over one of their prototype stems for me to try out and review. Click into the post for full thoughts and gallery, lets go!
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll have noticed that the whole Ruff team mysteriously switched over to some new black frames that nobody has said anything about. Well me being the fixie journalist that I am, I am here to BREAK THE SILENCE AND BE THE WHISTLEBLOWER THAT YOU DESERVE! BIG FIXIE DOESN’T WANT YOU TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.
Jk, they’re just some new prototypes that we’ve all been testing out. What’s different? Tighter geometry and less weight mostly. Maybe some other technical jargon that I’m not sure about. I can confidently say this geometry is the best I’ve felt though and I’m excited for productions to run on them some day (who knows with the way production is these days). Anyways, here’s some pics of my bike I snagged while out in Atlanta, when it still looked new (ish).
Some shots have been slowly releasing from Dew and Capone Bikes announcing the making of a signature frame in the works. Bike looking good for sure! No details yet, but if Dew is in the mix, it’s bound to be good. Give Capone a like and follow Dew on instagram @dewsippawit to keep updated! More photos after the jump.
Had a real sick ride with a ton of dudes this past Sunday. We ended the day at the pink Laguna Hills skatepark and got a few shots of Joe airing the bowl on his brand new prototype LDGFreestyle frame.
