The boys rallied together at Woodward West last weekend to shred some FGFS and BMX at the famous skate camp. We were only there for a short time and we were only allowed to ride the indoor park, but nonetheless we had a blast. The possibilities are endless here. There was almost so much to do that we didn’t know where to start. Here’s the tricks we did manage to think of while we were there though, enjoy!
Bringing in the new year I decided to take some fresh pics of my current RUFF Sleeper build. While it’s not exactly a fresh build since I’ve been running the same Frame and Fork since May 2018 (longest I’ve had a single frame and especially fork), the build got some fresh components since i first posted pics of the build. Read more for some words and thoughts about the bike and a parts breakdown for 2020.
INTRODUCING: our first VX mixtape! We had a lot of fun with this one. Deacon and I split the cost of a VX and he’s been putting it to work. Him and our BMX friend Nico went in for full parts while Deacon pulled out the VX on the rest of the gang during casual / fun sessions. This was a lot of fun to do so this won’t be the last!
There was a lot of hype for our Barcelona trip video (Was meant to be called the Birth of Barcelona in honor of the legendary Death of Barcelona video from Grime / Zontrac) back when we took this trip in 2016. The question everybody has been dying to have answered: what happened to the video? To keep it brief, the trip organizer and filmer decided to hold on to the project and footage because it “wouldn’t be worth putting out”. Luckily though, I managed to take a lot of second angles and b roll from my camera along with Jackson being kind enough to lend me some of his footage. Thus, the Raw edit was born! This at least lets us share some of the fun times and cool tricks that went down during our 2016 trip (tons of more tricks happened though that aren’t included in this edit). To give some context for myself: this was my first time on a bike since my El Toro accident. My foot was nowhere near ready to ride but we booked the trip before that accident happened, so I went anyways. So my skills weren’t very sharp and my foot was delicate whenever i landed on it. Either way though, I still had a blast with these dudes and I reeeaally hope I can go back soon. Enjoy!
Me and Slumworm linked up in LA not too long ago to film this beauty of an edit. I think it’s safe to say this is easily the coolest anybody has ever been able to make me look in a video, lol. I always love meeting up with Slum. It’s always a hell of a good time catching up, pushing each other to try new tricks, and having a good laugh. BAY AREAAA. Anyways, I love the way this came out, big thanks to Matt for this one. Check it out!
Before I was officially with Ruff Bike Co, I flew to Seattle and met up with Jacob to try out for the team. We had an hour long session in a parking garage and I guess they liked what they saw!
We drove all the way up to San Jose to host the first annual SMC Fakie Race 2K19 featuring Jackson Bradshaw, Jimmy Watcha, and more! Found out who takes home the gold, enjoy!
