It’s been a while, but I finally went out for a night shoot with Koichi Higo aka FORKONE again. His creativity always pushes my motivation and keeps my shooting spirit alive. We captured a few scenes, and here’s one of his signature moves — the boomerang.
Don’t let Jackson’s false title fool you, this 2015 throwback edit from FOAD and Jackson originally titled “Technique Fleek” was a super impactful edit when it originally dropped in 2015. 2015 was a weird year because the entire scene seemed to drop off a cliff. Web edits became few and far between (although more were still dropping than the present day) and riding started to go in a more techy direction. Jackson dropped this one and there were a lot of progressive clips in here.
Jackson was one of the first to really dial in feeble hard 180s (and would later go on to be one of the first to do pegs hard 180). His ability to link tricks was also on another level, and then that ender was and still is an NBD, although I think this might be a standard trick for a bikelife kid now minus the bunnyhop into it.
Anyways, this edit also got me into Black Marble and has extraordinary vibes. Jackson, you rule.
A first of its kind, we listened to the people and made a 700c Trick Track Courttek V2 game of BIKE happen between myself and Max Corcoran while he was in town!
Daniel O’Callaghan aka Documeant out of Australia builds up what seems like his first FGFS build and even learns a fish and chips afterwards! If you’re in Australia, hit our boy up to ride.
Chris starting the year off HOT with a new video in his Table for 1 series. Absolute destruction of the flat ground combo discipline! Doing it big for Resist + Volume. Chris lets get you a filmer, we don’t live too far from each other.
