Tyrant Bikes, owned by former Leader owner Sal Sambroso, was kind enough to send a Tyrant Legacy steel frame our way to build up, ride, and talk about. Gallery of the build and some additional thoughts after the jump!
Spend a day with Jakub and Jackson filming out in Grenoble for Last Try! Jakub is seriously so skilled. He got so many cool tricks in just a day.
Satoshi is PUMPING out the content! This new piece features an OG in the Japan scene, Ayumu. Along with being a dedicated rider, Ayumu has helped organize some really impactful trick competitions and events for the Japan scene over the years (the NORIDAORE series). These days while the events have cooled off a bit, he still gets out frequently to ride his bike in his own way. Such a unique style that’s really fun to watch. Like I keep saying, Satoshi’s skills as a filmer have been getting exponentially better and I look forward to everything he releases.
Love how involved and dedicated Satoshi has been to creating high quality Fixed Gear content for the pleasure of our eyeballs. Satoshi just dropped an interview with the very mysterious Forkone, aka Koichi Higo. They cover a vast amount of really interesting topics so it’s worth sitting down and watching. Especially since Satoshi was kind enough to translate it for us.
YOUKNOWWHATSGOOD! Today we talk to Congo about his extensive history and influence in the Fixed Gear scene, with some great stories sprinkled in. Wide man coming through!
Really captivating short piece for Skream from friend of the blog Rob Cairns!
This is a rare one. For today’s Fixed Gear Archive upload I upped the Fixion Osaka DVD. Never before seen by probably most modern day Fixed Gear riders. Shoutout to Burd Phillips for sending over the DVD for me to rip and upload!
This was a super fun video to watch! Max recounted his trip with Rob to ACMC (Australian Courier and Messenger Championships) 2024 in Sydney and it looked like an absolute BLAST! Alleycats, good times, great tricks, and more. Obviously you know I love the parts where the boys got out to do some street trick riding. Some fun looking spots and great tricks to accompany. Videos like this are what reminds me why I love the Fixed Gear community.
WOW. Satoshi has been pumping the content out lately. Forkone aka Koichi Higo is truly a one of a kind rider. There is NOBODY doing it like him on a Fixed Gear bike. Trick at 2:52 really had my jaw dropped.
Alongside this amazing riding, Satoshi has really been stepping up his production game and really came through hard in this edit. Thoughtful filming and attention to detail all throughout this, I was really impressed. Worth multiple watches!
