Elfakijoe just posted up a bike check of Ismael’s gorgeous old school Leader Shadow build. Love that we’re starting to see hints of the French scene resurging. Check out the specs and more pics here!

Hard to tell exactly whats going on in this video given the language barrier, but we got some solid park shred from Colombia’s El Calao + a bike check towards the end.
Although the frame came out in 2010, Deacon managed to find a BRAND NEW Volume Cutter V5 in the wild and snagged it for himself. He decided to celebrate this monumental fixie achievement by building it up with 100% brand new parts and let me say, the result is absolutely beautiful. Look out for some content of Deacon riding this bad boy soon and click read more to see the whole gallery!

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll have noticed that the whole Ruff team mysteriously switched over to some new black frames that nobody has said anything about. Well me being the fixie journalist that I am, I am here to BREAK THE SILENCE AND BE THE WHISTLEBLOWER THAT YOU DESERVE! BIG FIXIE DOESN’T WANT YOU TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.
Jk, they’re just some new prototypes that we’ve all been testing out. What’s different? Tighter geometry and less weight mostly. Maybe some other technical jargon that I’m not sure about. I can confidently say this geometry is the best I’ve felt though and I’m excited for productions to run on them some day (who knows with the way production is these days). Anyways, here’s some pics of my bike I snagged while out in Atlanta, when it still looked new (ish).

Slum stole his buddies bike and decided to shred it and talk about it. Nice!
It’s been a while since I’ve had a track bike that I was stoked on. I’ve had this LD Labs frame built up for a while, but I wasn’t too hyped on the way it was set up and didn’t enjoy the way it felt. Finally though, I decided to put some time and $$$ into it to finally get it the way I envisioned. Also waiting 6 months for some Omniums on Ebay cause the fucker wouldn’t send the cranks didn’t help with getting this project finished, but alas! I present to you: my LD Labs dream build. (More photos + specs after the jump)

Rob from the Fixed Berlin crew unboxes and puts together his new Skream build along with some shredding that starts at the 5:00 mark. Been really digging the quality of videos these dudes have been putting out!
We got our hands on the Crew Defender, one of the only complete FGFS-esque bikes on the market right now thanks to the kind people at City Grounds, so I decided to give my two cents on the bike! Hit “read more” for a more in depth analysis on the bike.
Exciting news to share! Master Bike Co. gave me the opportunity to be part of their trick track team and gave me my own signature colorway for the new Courttek trick track frames that are set to drop early next year! Beyond excited with how the bike turned out. Gus did a killer job on the graphics, as always. As far as the colorway goes, I was going for the old raw Thrasher V1 vibes with the purple decals. I’m excited to put some shred on this thing. Keep in mind too that these are still prototypes, and the production geometry will likely be tweeked and perfected. Click read more for more photos + a rundown of the parts I got going on up in here.
