It’s going down!! YOU RIDING OR HIDING FOO?!?!

Today we reveal our SMCGR 2026 picks for the top 10 Trick Track riders in the world! Tough year this year, so much talent and a lot of new faces. Rider cards after the jump!
March 7th 2026, The first Samurai Trick Comp has successfully come to an end. Even though the location was kept secret, more than 10 riders from across Japan came out to join. There were many riders I had never met before, and it gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation. We filmed the event, so I’ll edit the footage and share it with everyone soon. For now, I’m sending the group photo and results.
Thank you so much to everyone who came. Thanks to everyone’s support and good vibes, it became a truly great event. The next one is planned for August. See you soon. Arigato

This week in the virtual studio we’ve got one of the GOATs of our sport, Elliott Milner! We discuss his origins, Stay Strapped, how he get so damn good, some beefs, and so much more. Huge shoutout to Elliott for joining the show!

Kai aka FIXIKA is truly a pioneer of fixed gear tricks in the Japanese scene. I remember that he organized a weblog back around 2007–2009, where he wrote about how to do fixed gear tricks. When I was around 24 or 25, I read and read and read his blog almost every day to learn trick tips. I’m really glad he’s still here and still riding like this. We still shoot together a few times a year.

Josh already prepping for SMC 9! Loving the street selection in this and looking real comfortable on his SMC 8 prize of the Marco Hightek. Also love the rail line at 2:40, awesome to see him expanding his bag of tricks.
After SMC 8 the Euro boys (Crispy, Bean, Marc, Max, and Youri) made their way to SF and met up with the Mayor himself Matt Reyes. They went on a night excursion around town and shot some really cool pics with the gang. Check out the full writeup and photoset on Wheel Talk!

Marcus builds a very cursed bike and tries to ride it. He doesn’t ride it much in this video but it seems like he figured it out better in this IG video!
Recently I built up a fresh Ruff Glimmer frame in a rare color choice for me… black! Although the only reason I did this was because they were sold out of raw at the time, I ended up being really happy with how the build turned out. I’ve had a black Ruff before but wasn’t in love with how that bike looked. Why do I like my black build now though?
I think the black fork, proto bars, and chrome details are really helping me love my current bike. Full rundown after the jump!
