RUFF BIKE CO – COREY SAN AGUSTIN

It’s HERE. The highly anticipated Corey San Agustin for Ruff edit is finally available for public consumption. Putting in hard work over the last 3 years, this nearly 8 minute edit is nothing short of a masterpiece. Combining Corey’s creative approach to spots, pegless 29er bike, fearless riding, and spots courtesy of spotmandude, this makes for one of the most enjoyable pieces of Fixed Gear content to come out in the last 5 years EASILY. To top all this off, all of it was filmed in standard definition, making it a serious vibe. Corey also put his editing skills to the test as he doesn’t edit very many videos typically. If you watch one video all year, this is the one to watch. Well done Corey and team!

CSK GUARD SPROCKET NOW AVAILABLE

The very mysterious US made Ruff Bike Co CSK guard sprocket that I teased a couple months ago is now available for purchase! You can buy the sprocket alone as well as guard options on the website. $82 USD for the sprocket alone, extra $12 for the insert (19mm and 22mm options available), and an extra $10 if you want the guard with it. Here’s what Ruff has to say about it:

“We designed some 25 and 28 tooth sprockets that are compatible with Profile steel spline drive inserts and machined to accept select 4 bolt pattern nylon guards.

These sprocket were manufactured in the US from 7075 t6 aluminum alloy.”

Sneak Peak: Ruff CSK Guard Sprocket + Bike Check

Today we have an SMC EXCLUSIVE sneak peak look at the new Ruff CSK sprocket I’ve been riding for the last month. I’ve been enjoying the benefits of not breaking my chain on things while simultaneously loving the way this thing looks on my bike. While this is only a prototype and things are subject to change, the front of the sprocket is actually design-less and the CSK engraving sits subtly on the back of the drivechain. I dig it.

Figured I’d shoot some complete pics of my current build too while I was showing off the sprocket. You’ll notice this time around a higher seat than normal and a bunch of new scratches on my paint. Stay tuned for Ruff sprocket updates!

MUST WATCH – LOST – Matt Spencer

Stop what you’re doing RIGHT NOW and please watch Matt’s latest edit: LOST. This is a masterpiece from front to back. Matt is a long time FGFS veteran and in the 13 years he’s been putting out videos, this one blows all of his previous parts out of the water. From the spots, to the speed, to the creativity, Matt is truly in peak form right now. Absolutely nobody is riding the way he does. I’ve already watched this a few times and you bet I’m gonna watch it 10 more times before the year ends. Bravo Matt!
