We dropped some new colorways for our popular Flagship cap just in time for the holidays!
These comfy, broken in caps now come in what we call “Dusty Green” and “Washed Blue”. We’ve only got a handful left since we sold a good amount at the competition, so grab one for yourself or someone you love for the holidays here! (Free stickers with every purchase)
Andy is someone’s name you may have seen floating around our sphere. He joins our sessions often, mostly rides BMX, films a lot of stuff, and is a closeted Fixed Gear OG. He was hanging around Joe Mckeag during his come up and even filmed some videos back in the FGFS golden days. That being said, Andy recently built himself up this absolutely beautiful 2010 Durcus One Stylin’. Specs and gallery after the jump!
The fixed gear viking Lucas aka Poney putting in some real work!! You know I love me a proper horizontal edit. I’ve been watching Poney’s trick journey and it’s been a fun one to witness. Going from insane fish + chips combos to some proper FGFS moves isn’t always the easiest transition but Lucas is pushing through and really making some progress. You know that 180 bar ender felt good. Keep pushing it Lucas!!
Side note, he was gracious enough to donate a bunch of prizes for the recent comp through his cycling softgoods company Poney Factory. Upcycled belts, straps, and more, go check them out!
Relive EVERY TRICK from Suck My Comp 7 like you were watching it live! First time we’ve decided to drop raw competition recap like this. Let us know if you like this! (Shorter highlight video to follow for easier consumption)
While I’m pumping away at Suck My Comp 7 recap videos, here are some cool photos from a really nice under bridge session while we were out in Den Haag featuring Jakub, Matt, Ismael, Ritchie, and friends! Click into post for full set.
Late on this cause directly after the comps wrapped up last weekend, I went to Vegas with the Ruff crew for some filming! Anyways, here are the official results from Suck My Comp 7:
I’ll have more pictures, thoughts, and video recaps coming some time next week. Overall though, it was a really really successful event and a really good time with a bunch of people who share the same passion. It’s a tiring weekend, but always worth it. Stay tuned for more on this.
When I said this was getting posted soon I meant it! Youri gives us the rundown on his newly acquired Master Hightek in the Gus Molina Faded Freight colorway. He also hits some insane tricks at the park. Check it out!
Master just picked up the legendary Youri Slikker from Netherlands for the FGFS team! If there was anyone next in line to get a sponsorship, it was definitely Youri. With a recent fire web edit, impressive performance at Fixated Comp 2, and general overall shredding, this is incredibly deserved. Stay on the lookout for a bike check we filmed with him on the new bike dropping extremely soon!
Here’s what Master had to say about the pickup:
“Happy to announce the newest addition to the Master bike team Youri Slikker. It has been fun watching Youri’s riding progress over the years with his creative style and innovative tricks—all strapless by the way. Riding FGFS is already a complicated task with pedal timing and to do it strapless with finesse is next level. After watching him compete at the Fixated comp earlier this year I could tell that he had something special. Glad to have Youri representing for us in Europe and excited to see more from him in the future!”
Posted up a fun 2013 throwback on the archive of myself! The 3:30 with Locked Cog series used to be one of my favorites. Pros would send in footage to Kris with LC and he’d pump out these fun minute long mini edits for the world to see. I remember being really stoked when he said he was willing to do one with me, since Locked Cog was such a big platform at the time. I’m actually still pretty proud of a lot of these clips. The ender was the first time I’d put the 180 bar to backlash into a proper clip, and I’m pretty sure it was the first that FGFS had seen at the time. Funny to think about how hard that clip felt when it’s a staple in my trick bag now. Fun times. Shoutout my boy Sam for the ender.
