84Kick – SHUN – Cherry Edit

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: Satoshi is doing an incredible job documenting the Japan scene. He has covered so many riders that I’ve never even heard of, including this newest one of Shun from the far east Japanese island of Kokura. He’s got some great 700c flow and style with a good bag of tricks. So much potential and it makes me so happy to see the Japan scene thriving.

WHALEATHON DOCUMENTARY

Not directly bike related. The highly anticipated Whaleathon documentary, a story that documents the FOAD Gang’s journey to run a marathon around a .04 roundabaout with a whale stature in the middle, is now live on the FOAD channel. Jackson put lots of work into this and even flew me out to film the event, so support his project by giving it a watch!

KOZO – I Like It Edit

After over 10 years off the Fixed Gear bike, the legend Kozo returns! Although Fixed Gear isn’t Kozo’s native bike style, in 2010 he transferred his BMX skills to a Fixed Gear bike and became the first person to backflip on fixed.

Satoshi recently hooked up with Kozo, let him use his bike, and he pulled some magic on it. 180 whip on quarter is soooo next level. He pulls some other nice moves in this video too, great work guys!

CHASE HENLEY – HOSPITAL CASE

Rounding out the year with one of the highest anticipated videos of the year, Chase Henley – Hospital Case. Although a lot of this footage is over 2 years old already, this video showcases the fact that Chase is the most talented person to touch a fixed gear drivetrain in the last 5 years. Chase has already been filming for a new project with Ruff, so stay tuned for that in the coming year. Originally premiered at Suck My Comp 7 weekend on November 16th. Enjoy!
