Although the frame came out in 2010, Deacon managed to find a BRAND NEW Volume Cutter V5 in the wild and snagged it for himself. He decided to celebrate this monumental fixie achievement by building it up with 100% brand new parts and let me say, the result is absolutely beautiful. Look out for some content of Deacon riding this bad boy soon and click read more to see the whole gallery!
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll have noticed that the whole Ruff team mysteriously switched over to some new black frames that nobody has said anything about. Well me being the fixie journalist that I am, I am here to BREAK THE SILENCE AND BE THE WHISTLEBLOWER THAT YOU DESERVE! BIG FIXIE DOESN’T WANT YOU TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.
Jk, they’re just some new prototypes that we’ve all been testing out. What’s different? Tighter geometry and less weight mostly. Maybe some other technical jargon that I’m not sure about. I can confidently say this geometry is the best I’ve felt though and I’m excited for productions to run on them some day (who knows with the way production is these days). Anyways, here’s some pics of my bike I snagged while out in Atlanta, when it still looked new (ish).
Chase has been stacking clips for this edit since the end of CJTY filming. While most people will take a break after filming a big video section, Chase stayed hungry and just kept going. Chase is one of the most talented people to touch an FGFS bike in a long time. He can grind both sides equally, has no fear, and has a creative approach to spots. The mans is a complete package. Today, we are extremely proud to present his edit for Ruff Bike Co.
Here is the last extras video from our CJTY extras series. You can really see the work Marco put in for his part here, the dude has no off button. Bangers only.
Hope everyone enjoyed these raw extras. Make sure to re watch his section so you can appreciate it in all it’s glory HERE!
Hey look, it’s me! After our Back to Track comp I wanted to just ride for a while and the homie Harvey captured some of the action! Digging the way this is put together.
Shot these a little over a year ago for CJTY promo stuff. We had a rare day where almost all the boys got together for a session. More projects in the works, stay tuned…
Miguel “The Machine” Zendejas is on another level. His brain does not register things the way us humans do. See his processes to land tricks in his CJTY extras and make sure to rewatch his part HERE!
Here’s the extras from my CJTY section. It’s a testament that filming video parts isn’t easy, cause I slammed A LOT. Enjoy my pain and rewatch my section here!
Today I present you the extras to Thompson’s CJTY section. Now we didn’t get to film with Jonathan as much as we wanted to, but nonetheless he still put in some work while filming and took some good slams in the process. Rewatch his full section here!
