Wheel Talk coming in hot with a new all FGFS video! You love to see it. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen some of these dudes shredding like Boothby and Combs. Words can’t describe the joy I feel to see all these dudes still carrying the torch and shredding hard. Especially loved Boothby’s up and over hop into the transition at 3rd and army at the 4:26 mark. Nuts! Dialed riding from everyone as always and a great video all together per usual.
The latest Wheel Talk production is a banger, per usual. There’s some faces in here that we haven’t seen in a while like Boothby and Silva, really stoked to see that. Santos with some classic launch and wall action. Slum and Matt Bastard supplied the tech that we know and love. Peep!
Here’s Gus and Josh’s split section from the Stillpourland DVD. Love watching both of these dudes ride! Two of potentially the rawest dudes on FGFS bikes into one section, whats not to love? Gus’ creativity leaves you wondering what he’s gonna pull at any given spot and Josh’s spontaneity and send it mentality keep you on your toes. Train ending is legendary, check it out!
Siked off this! Over summer myself and Miguel were lucky enough to be invited up to Portland to film for Ramon’s upcoming full length video, “StillPourLand”, and heres the first trailer for it. Get hyped!

How long have you been riding FGFS?
I started riding Fgfs in 2012.
What got you into riding?
I was riding bmx and working at area cycles in Castro valley, I watched Fgfs start coming up and wanted to play around with it. Next thing you know it’s the only bike I own.
Who’s your favorite FGFS Rider?
Id say either Andy sparks ⚡️ or Gus Molina. Two ogs I’m proud to call homies.
Fruit or Vegetables?
Veggies all day
La Croix or Gatorade?
Gatorade, I’m a simple man haha.
How was your recent trip to Portland?
Portland was so rad, spots were everywhere and nobody had any issues with us riding really. Felt really good to get away from life and just ride again.
Quick, hit me with a memorable moment.
Definitely back flopping into The Bay during Super Bowl Sunday 2016 😩 (Relive it HERE)
We all know you got that balance, and a way with the ladies, but what would you consider to be the “Josh Silva Signature” move?
Well everybody in the Fgfs world knows me for my hang fives. So I’d have to say that’s me haha.
Favorite trick on flat ground.
Favorite riding shoes?
Chrome Industries – 415 workboots
Plans for the future?
Honestly I have big dreams just like a lot of people my age, I just want to ride bikes, work hard, travel, make good money, have fun and take care of the people that take care of me.
Blow the whistle. After taking a short mid-day break, we loaded up the van and headed back to down town to see what else we could stack before the sun set.
We pulled off at this bank spot nicknamed “The Wall of Death”. Johnathan Ball took one run at the wall to flat, looped back around, then immediately caught a body on his second attempt. Our eyes widened and our jaws hit the floor as we watched JBall bounce on the pavement like a sack of soggy potatoes. He laid there for a bit, got up, dusted himself off, then got right back on the horse and nailed the clip before we moved on to greener pastures.
I didn’t shoot as many photos as the day before but was able to get a handful of shots of Miguel Zendejas’ neon yellow Master Bike Co Prototype. I’m not sure when these frames will be available to the public, but I’ve heard whispers of them rolling out sometime in the few couple months. What I can tell you is that these frames are incredibly compact, have steep head tube angles and offer up one of the most progressive geometries FGFS has ever seen.
If you’ve ever ridden with us, than I’m sure you already know, but I’m always the idiot running around trying to round up the crew for a family photo. It’s become somewhat of a tradition at this point, and is always worth the effort. This one in particular was potentially the most challenging one we’ve taken yet. We used the typical 10 second timer, but added in a 2 second exposure as a curve ball. Shout out to these dudes for remaining completely still during that time and to anyone else who has ever put up with my consistent craziness. One day I’ll publish a book of all these group shot. You’ll see.
That just about covers it. Again, keep em peeled for photos from Day 3 of our time together in Portland.
Day one and done. It didn’t take much to roast us to the bone. After the first full day of riding in Portland with the boys we were already salty, sore, and thirsty for more. With legs like noodles and arms like peanut brittle we pushed ourselves and each other to keep the stoke alive.
Setting the stage. Ramon Antonio flew Johnathan Ball, Miguel Zendejas & Josh Silva to PDX to film for a video project he’s been wanting to shoot. Although we don’t have a name for it yet, filming is well underway and is already shaping up to be the hot ticket video of the Summer.
Miguel Zendejas never fails to impress and came hot out the gate linking some of the craziest nose manual / tail whip lines I’ve ever seen. Johnathan Ball flexed his fixie muscles and demonstrated how a real man does tarck tricks. Ease off the juice my dude. 💪
That’s it for now, stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for more WHEEL TALK coverage from our weekend in the Pacific North West.

Josh Silva hits some tricks in this short piece by Chrome! (Posting this as he’s currently asleep on this couch next to me)
Super Bowl Sunday for the past 3 years has meant one thing for FGFS: A fire ass video from the bay area dudes. These videos have never disappointed and the crew always looks like they’re having such a blast not watching the game. They even were blessed with Jaoa and Combs’ presence this year! Personal favorite from this was Mike’s handplant, flawless. You dudes killed it, as always. Don’t sleep on this one.
