The legendary Master Bike Co. 64 driver hub is officially the most versatile hub on the market. Not only can it be converted to freewheel or swapped out with a 3/8th axle, you can now add their new ISO track cog adapter to run standard fixed gear cogs! Grab one here to upgrade your whip. Here’s what Master says about them:
“This driver attachment works with the Master 64 hubs to allow for the use of ISO 6 bolt track cogs. These drivers are compatible with our 14mm or 3/8 axles. Hubs and cogs sold separately.”
This week Mash SF announced a frame collaboration with Mr. Fixie himself: Matt Reyes! This signature frame is a Trick Track specific model built for some fixie trick abuse tailored to Slum himself. The frame looks great and the paint job is one of a kind (except it’ll be produced that way so… there will be a lot of em’).
If you’re reading this today and happen to be an SF local, Mash actually has 10 of these frames available RIGHT NOW at their shop, and I’m sure they’ll be gone quick. More details from Mash on how to get a hold of one below:
“Later this week we will begin to offer a new frame model developed with @slumworm and friends. On Wednesday, we will offer 10 frames to locals, curbside at our shop on Sanchez Street. The following day, we will test a waiting room on our web site, where you visit the digital shop at a certain time, and you will be put in a waiting room until it’s your turn to shop for the frame. We will share all the details before they go live on our site, and can help answer questions here before. We will also publish a post on our site with all the frame specs, so please stay tuned for those details too. If you are in Japan, please check with @bluelug for their release. The Japan model has welded in brake studs as well. More soon!”

Destroy just silently released their new 2022 Tarck fork! This beast clears 45c tires, 420 a2c, 35mm rake, and you already know it’s built right when it’s got the Destroy name on it. Little pricey at $200, but likely worth it. Snag one HERE!
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll have noticed that the whole Ruff team mysteriously switched over to some new black frames that nobody has said anything about. Well me being the fixie journalist that I am, I am here to BREAK THE SILENCE AND BE THE WHISTLEBLOWER THAT YOU DESERVE! BIG FIXIE DOESN’T WANT YOU TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.
Jk, they’re just some new prototypes that we’ve all been testing out. What’s different? Tighter geometry and less weight mostly. Maybe some other technical jargon that I’m not sure about. I can confidently say this geometry is the best I’ve felt though and I’m excited for productions to run on them some day (who knows with the way production is these days). Anyways, here’s some pics of my bike I snagged while out in Atlanta, when it still looked new (ish).
On Friday your favorite track bike boi Jake Lanich released some new merch from his brand No Brakes. They have multiple hats and a shirt for sale, cop here and support the fixie cause!!
If you’re in the market for bars on the taller side, 2 Wheel Gang aka Blocboi Fame just dropped his first run of bars! These bad boys clock in at 7.5″ tall and 30″ wide, they come in 4 sick colors too. Check em’ out here!
Destroy just released their new “Destroy Unicorn Killer Comp” frame and it looks killer. A more compact version of their famous Unicorn Killer series. Thing looks ready to shred out the gate. Heres what Destroy has to say about it:
“The evolution of a classic DESTROY FGFS Frame. Built for all around carnage on the street at the park heck why not dirt. A compact version of the frame that set modern day FGFS. Now with a geometry oriented to fit a greater range of riders while offering a centered and reliable under body feel.
With the idea always being that the UNICORN KILLER COMP would be put though constant torture we complimented this frame with one of our strongest rear ends and dropouts that fit 14mm axels.”
P3 Cycles hit me up and wanted to send a bike this way for a review. So in our latest video, watch me put it to the test and see how it stacks up as a trick bike!
