Ritchie van Pelt – 2022 Edit

Ritchie just did the thing that i’ve been begging riders to do: put out a web edit! Even if it’s recycled clips from IG, having a video that you can type your name in and find is such a nice thing to have. Shoutout to Ritchie for this, he’s been progressing like crazy lately and I’m really excited to see how he pushes the envelope even further in 2023. Great trick variation throughout this thing, check it out! Oh and also, support Fixated!

“GR333DY SZN”

Been a while, but Guillermo is back with a heater of a video featuring all kinds of fixed gear bikes in the mix. Track bikes, Trick Track setups, and even our boy Max on the FGFS. It’s really good to see a new video from Memo and this group of dudes, it’s been missed. Peep!

New Kid On The Block – Max Vargas

Fresh off a 3rd place finish in the Suck My Comp 5 Am division is one of our newest additions to the crew, young gun Max Vargas. Trick Track kid turned FGFS, he’s been on an absolute progression roll lately. Look out for more content involving him soon and take a look at his Pagan build scraped together from a lot of our extra parts. Full set and details after the jump!

PRIVILEGED BREAD – SUCK MY COMP WEEKEND!

Bread cam coverage of Suck My Comp 5 weekend with some extras from before and after. So many people in one video, it warms my heart 🙂

Head Smash

Last Saturday me and the Dooc man went out for a casual bike ride to the beach on our Trick Track builds that ended in a pool of blood, 17 staples, and stitches. I’ll discuss this more on the upcoming Off Track episode, but long story short, I tried to grind a bench and hit my head up top (see gallery for reference). It was such a nice session too. I’m cooped up and off the bike for at minimum a few weeks. I get my staples removed in a couple days so hopefully the healing is quick.

Luckily for me, most of the damage was external and not internal. I thought I was okay until blood started pouring (literally) from my skull. Currently a little unsteady in day to day, but overall not concussed.

Moral of the story, pay attention to the height of things while riding your bike. The moral should probably be to wear a helmet… yeah, maybe lets go with that one.
