SMC 8 – FGFS AM FULL RECAP
Suck My Comp 8 recap week is upon us! This week you can expect a recap from all the sub divisions from SMC 8 including FGFS Am (today), FGFS Pro, FGFS best trick, Trick Track AM, Women’s division, Trick Track Pro, and then we’ll top it all off with one two big highlight reels from each day.
To start, here is every trick that went down for the FGFS AM division on day 1! Shoutout to all 21 riders who signed up to compete!
PIZZA MAYNE – BACK IN BUSINESS
HERE IT IS! The long awaited Pizza Mayne edit. Often the fan favorite in any room he’s in, Lucas aka Pizza Mayne throws his hat into the ring with his first ever FGFS street edit. The amount of sweat equity that went into this is huge, spending almost 3 years gathering clips for his debut edit. Super proud of Pizza for getting this done and putting in so much work for these tricks. Happy Thanksgiving!
Josh Price – Montebello After SMC8
Our two AM winners this year teamed up after the comp this weekend and crushed Montebello skatepark. The park has lots of transition so Josh felt right at home and Marcus even got a cameo skatepark clip! Really been enjoying watching Josh ride lately, a really fresh take on FGFS tricks.
SMC 8 First Video Recap

Throwback – Tyler Johnson – The Hammer
Posted up this line from 2008 of Tyler Johnson onto the archive yesterday and wanted to boost it a little more. For Tyler to have this kind of bike control on a full blown track bike 17 years ago is just other worldly. Tyler may be somewhat distanced from Fixed Gear these days, but don’t ever forget what an enigma and prodigy this guy was / is on a bike!
