Amazing piece of work from Slum and Tadashi. Matt’s filmmaking skills are outta this world these days and leaves me fiending for more. Matt’s content is like drugs. Tadashi’s riding is on point in this too though. Really liked the wheelie 180 lines. Also, why does it seem like Japanese dudes are fearless when it comes to handrails? Sick way to close out the year. Don’t miss this one!
Quite possibly the most recognizable face in the Fixed Gear scene, Andy Sparks is an outspoken man with vast amounts of fixed gear knowledge and skill. Being in the scene for almost 10 years now, Andy knows a thing or two about the “sport”. Here we gave him a chance to talk about himself and spread some fixie knowledge to the new generation of fixed gear kids. Buckle up, cause this just might be our best interview yet. Big thanks to Andy for being down to share his thoughts and thanks to Slumworm for providing essentially all the photos, we here at SMC are honored! If you aren’t already, follow Andy on IG @lolandysparks . The Andy Sparks interview is here, enjoy:
Holy shit! Matt just dropped the first of 5 promos in celebration of the drop of the new SLEEPER framesets that just dropped (go cop here). This is some of Matt’s best riding to date! Shit really heats up around the 1:30 mark. That footplant spin 180 clip at 1:42 is one of my favorite clips i’ve seen in a while, so creative! Don’t miss out on this one and look out for the next series of videos in the coming weeks!
Ramon dropped his part from the StillPourLand DVD the other day and there’s so many goodies in here! Ramon has a unique style and approach to spots so watching him ride is always a treat since you don’t know what to expect. Things really heat up at the 2:12 mark and here you can see some of Ramon’s best riding to date.
Really great group of dudes in this one! Mike Schmitt is back with the norcal crew and shreds a smokey Balboa skatepark. Tons of diversity and so many good tricks packed into a short time, absolutely loved this!
Here’s Miguel’s section from the Still Pour DVD STILLPOURLAND. Miguel is simply on another level in FGFS. Nobody can touch most of the tricks he does with ease. All this footage is from just a week of filming in Portland. TOO FIRE!
