SMC 8 – WOMEN’S DIVISION FULL RECAP

This was the first year we decided to throw a Women’s trick division into the mix for SMC 8 weekend and it was a big success! We had 3 killer competitors come out in Dylan, Clara, and Devan to make for some fire runs and tricks. We hope to see this division grow in the coming years, but for now we’re really happy with the caliber of riding we got to witness from these 3.

More SMC 8 content for your eye holes! Today we’ve got the AMs from Trick Track day 2. We had 19 competitors this year for the AM division, so cool to see so many people come out and show what they got!

SMC 8 – FGFS AM FULL RECAP

Just Announced – Bigfoot GRAND SLAM Jam!

Adam Wells and Andy Sparks are back with a brand new competition series going down 2 weeks after SMC 8 in Santa Cruz! These guys also threw the Conquer Concord event which was a big success, so I know this one is gonna be fun.

I’ll be there in spirit cause I’ve unfortunately got other engagements that weekend, but if you’re free I’d highly suggest showing out for the NorCal scene and support these dudes!

The world renown Suck My Comp FGFS + Trick Track 2-day competition is back for our 8th year to showcase the worlds best Fixed Gear trick riders and celebrate this scene we love!

Exact locations and sponsors to be announced, but we’re looking into the greater Los Angeles area, stay tuned. Get work off and book your travel plans, see you there!

Balance Stoked Event Photo Competition

Alongside the FGFS and Trick Track events that Balance is throwing this coming June is a Fixed specific photography competition! As a collab with Slow Spin, Balance is giving out prizes for the most special photo entries relating to Fixed Gear bikes. Entries are unlimited and submitted on Instagram.

Here are the full details for the competition:

In Collaboration with @slowspinsociety we are looking for the best creatives in the fixed gear world! Starting now until the 7th June, you have 8 weeks to capture a special moment with a fixed gear bike!

It can be yourself via a selfie, of your friend, a stranger, riding, jibbing, sitting at a cafe..

The only rule is a fixed gear bike must be featured in the photo.

The winners will receive clothing vouchers, a goodie bag with accessories and will be featured in a magazine.

This is open to Digital & Film (they will be prizes for both categories)

You can enter as many times as you like! To enter upload your picture(s) to Instagram and use the hashtag #StokedSSSPhotoComp25 or via our DM’s, include the message StokedSSSPhotoComp25 with your picture(s).

The panel of judges will showcase the short list pre-STOKED event and the winners will be announced on day one of the event (14th June). (Don’t worry if you won’t be in attendance on the 14th/15th, your entry is still valid – open to WorldWide entries)
