My good friend and incredible content producer Dave Rubie showed up to the comp and snagged these great photos. Full gallery after the jump and make sure to tag him @Daverubie if you’re throwing these on Instagram!
More photos and full event recap video coming this week!
This past weekend on Saturday we held our highly anticipated BACK TO TRACK trick track competition. It’s the first trick track specific competition that’s happened since around 2009 and it was a major success! To give some info about how the day went, we started at our original spot and people started showing up. It was the PERFECT spot. Basketball court, poles to spin off, and a bank next to it to do tricks on.
Almost immediately, a park official came up and told us we all had to leave. It was a scramble to find a new spot and get everyone there, but we ended up at a park in long beach that worked out perfectly (sign of relief). We had about 50 people total and the energy was great. With the resurgence of Trick Track riding, I think people were excited to have an event specifically for it. We’re gonna be dropping a bunch of photos from the day this week as well as a video recap on our Youtube channel, so keep an eye out for that. If you didn’t make it out, I highly recommend you make it out next year cause it was a blast. Thanks to everyone who came, supported, rode, and everything in between.

See you all next year! (Suck My Comp 5 happening first though so look out for that)
Sick new edit from Colombia’s own El Calao. Split part with a 700c build and a 26″ build with pegs, he has some real solid moves both on spots and on flat ground. Switch stuff on lock too. Definitely worth a look!
Fakijoe out of France has been on the up and up lately pumping out all sorts of delicious trick track content. While the camera work had me feeling a little nauseous, the riding and the edit are pretty good. He’s got great style so that’s a great place to start, it’s only up from here. Definitely worth a look.
Fxd Bln just dropped this cool video from last weekend where they invited people from all over their side of the world to shred and sesh. Lots of familiar faces in this one!
Fixated crew shredding a lil skatepark, cool sesh with some solid tricks going down! Dudes are starting to develop their styles out there, excited to see em continue to progress.
With the mass deletion of Vimeo content, we lost one of the most legendary videos in FGFS history: The Grime’s Shredwell 2. Don’t worry though, Fixed Gear Archive is here to save the day! I just uploaded the video back up onto the channel for our viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
