Some sponsors added to our previous lineup + Ruff Bike Co was kind enough to throw up $100 for the best trick portion of the day! Get the full details to the event HERE
Once again, huge thank you to our sponsors for helping make this happen. Please consider supporting these brands the next time you make a bike related purchase, it helps out the community as a whole!
You read that right, Suck My Comp is officially BACK ON! After a 2 year hiatus thanks to covid, Suck My Comp 5 is taking place this November 19th in good ol’ Long Beach at Mcbride skatepark. FGFS events are few and far between, so I highly suggest you make it out.
If you have an FGFS frame sponsor, you will automatically be placed into the “PRO” division.
“PRO” winners will take home cash while “AM” winners will take home prizes.
All entry fees go directly into the pot for the pro division winners to take home.
We will also be contributing extra $$$ from our pockets as a pot bonus.
There will be multiple sub events that are free to enter to get everyone involved!
Time: 10AM Pacific time
Date: November 19th, 2022
Location: Mcbride Skatepark, 1550 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813
If you plan on competing, I would highly recommend pre-registering here. It helps us organize better plus it’s cheaper for you. If that isn’t an option for you though, you can register day-of for $10.
Would recommend bringing a chair if you’re just spectating.
Please be on time. We will have a 30 minute grace period to allow you to show up, but we will start without you if you aren’t present.
Social media algorithms are pretty messed up these days, so please please please help spread the word and lets make this weekend a good old fashioned fixie freestyle palooza! See you in November!
THAT’S RIGHT BABY. We’re excited to announce that we’re back again this year with the 4th annual Suck My Comp FGFS competition! We’re bringing it back to Stanton Skatepark on August 17th (On a Saturday). There will be prizes, mini games, a best trick jam, raffles, and of course the main competition! Cash prizes for Pro division and some juicy prizes for the Ams. $5 to enter the competition, free to enter for everything else like the mini games and best trick jam. Save the date and tell your friends! Big thank you to our sponsors Master Bike Co, Ruff Bike Co, FOAD Gang, and LDG for helping make this happen. See you there!
Ramon just dropped this footage from the day before our Suckmycomp 3 competition of everyone getting their shred on and feeling the park out. Too much good stuff in here to call out, don’t miss this one!
(Also side note can someone come out next year and actually film our competition? Nobody ever does whats the deal with that okay thanks)
Every time the suck my comp rolls around I never have a chance to snap any photos since I’m so busy judging, riding, and hanging out with all these dudes that I barely get to see. It was pretty much the same case this year BUT I actually managed to whip out my camera the day before and a little bit after the comp. Here’s just a random set I was able to snag. (Full set after the jump)
Our competition on Saturday was incredible. This wasn’t nearly the amount of people that were at the park today (in the picture), but this was the after crowd for the Still Pour full length video premiere. The #suckmycomp3 couldn’t of gone any better. Good vibes, people shredding, and nothing went wrong! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made this happen. Here’s the results from the competition:
AM DIVISION
1st – Michael Penrose
2nd – Jonathan Thompson
3rd – Kameren Boun
4th – Peter Van Nguyen
PRO DIVISION:
1st – Elliott MIlner
2nd – Jimmy Watcha
3rd – Miguel Zendejas
4th – Matt Spencer
See you next year!
If you didn’t know, we threw a competition last August. Unfortunately, there weren’t many people documenting it. I was definitely too busy and having too much fun to even think about pulling out my phone, but REST ASSURED FOAD came threw with pretty much the only comp recap we need! Check out this super entertaining vlog they made showing the trip up, the comp, and the post comp mayhem.
IT’S ON. The SUCKMYCOMP 2 is going down at Silverado Skatepark again in Long Beach on August 12th. We’ll have a pro and am division, mini games, raffles, and a ton more. Come hang out, shred, and win some stuff. Cash prize for first place pro division. $5 to compete. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
Finally was able to finish up the official edit from the SUCKMYCOMP we threw on August 6th! Shoutout to Ramon and Daniel Le for shooting video and being kind enough to let me edit it. Check out the madness that went down!
