SUCK MY COMP 6 SPONSOR LIST + EVENT DETAILS

We’re incredibly proud to announce the sponsor lineup for our upcoming Suck My Comp 6 Fixed Gear Freestyle competition going down on the weekend of November 10th.

We’ve managed to gain the support of so many great companies this time around and we’re really excited to get some amazing prizes in rider’s hands.

Here are some important details for the event:

  • Pre-registration is $5, which goes right into the prize pool for riders. $10 day of, cash only. I would suggest pre registering because not only is it cheaper for you, but it helps us organize things easier. You can find the pre-registration link HERE
  • We will be adding an additional $100 to each prize pool for both Trick Track and FGFS
  • “Pro” division lets you win cash + physical goods, “Am” division you’ll just be competing for physical prizes
  • We’ve got really cool trophies this year for 1st place pro on both days. Stay tuned to our IG to get a sneak peak somewhere down the line
  • There will be some fun side events that are free to enter on both days too. So even if you don’t wanna compete, you can still come and participate.
  • As usual, we have a “best trick” jam portion of the competition that will happen after the main events. 20 minute jam to try your hardest tricks. Free to enter.
  • Raffles will be happening on both days! So bring some cash and try your luck to win some cool stuff. We’ve got some serious prizes to give away.
  • We will be selling some new SMC merch on both days. We’re gonna drop it online in the coming month, but if you don’t wanna pay for shipping then will be your best bet.
  • We are currently still in the process of finding a location to premiere some videos. Stay tuned for that one but expect it to be Saturday evening.
  • PARKING: For the Trick Track event at Sepulveda Dam: there is a very small lot on Burbank BLVD just after the freeway entrance, but I would suggest parking in the Cricket Complex and Archery Range parking lot on Woodley Avenue. From both parking lots, you will have to ride/walk down paths to get to the actual dam where the event is taking place. (picture below)
  • Please note that these are not city orchestrated events and the potential for being shut down is always possible. If this happens we will pivot to a new location or refund your entry fee if that isn’t possible.

Also big shoutout to our sponsors. There’s some big and surprising names in the mix who have been extremely generous with their prize offerings. Please support these companies to the fullest:

MASTER | FIXATED | RUFF | YNOT | MASH | VOLUME / RESIST | MERRITT / THEORY | CITY GROUNDS | HOLD FAST | FOAD GANG | BIGFOOT

Can’t wait to see everyone there, lets goooo!

CONQUER CONCORD CONTEST

This just in, Halloween weekend, Bigfoot Fixed and Andy Sparks are hosting a NorCal FGFS event! Pro and Am divisions, mini games, all of the good stuff. You already know I’ll be there so I hope to see you there too.

We’ve got the Suck My Comp 6 going down just two weeks apart from this. Is FGFS back??

Fixated FGFS Comp 2023 Results + Writeup

The 2023 Fixated FGFS comp has come to a close! The event occurred in the Netherlands on Saturday and had all kinds of Euros and even one American travel far and wide to gather and shred. The event was split into FGFS and Trick Track, which is great news because I strongly believe the 2 scenes should be merged. Here’s the official results and a writeup from Ritchie himself:

Trick Track:

1st – Louis Galley

2nd – Lucas Sentou

FGFS:

1st – Juan Nieto

2nd – Youri Slikker

3rd – Ismael Lebrech

“Some days before the Comp when all the riders announced themselves we had such a nice mix of FGFS and TrickTrack riders that last moment we decided to change AM and Pro into FGFS and TrickTrack.

We kicked off the Comp with a bunnyhop contest starting with the TrickTrack riders,

Lucas Sentou and Cris Prevoo ended on a tie at 45cm/18” then we moved on to FGFS riders and they took it to 90cm/35” and yet again we had a tie but with Youri Slikker and Juan Nieto so they had to battle it out at the Bank Boost-off!

Cris Prevoo won the TrickTrack boost-off reaching 60cm/24” And Youri Slikker won it by taking to the skies at well over 140cm/55”

After this we did a fun lil challenge! the first 2 to fakie up and over the big bank to bank in the middle of the skatepark got 20€ Diego Valero and Cris Prevoo managed to cash in on that one! soo much fun and we will do that again next year!

After that it was time to get going with the Trick comp! Again TrickTrack went first.

they had a nice mix of tricks and even used some the skatepark elements. it’s was a close call but Louis Galley took 1st and Lucas Sentou was a close 2nd

On too FGFS!

All riders had a nice variety of tricks and some crazy bangers were sent! and we ended up with 3 riders very close to each other in the scores but Juan Nieto took first place for linking some incredibly smooth and stylish lines  2nd was Youri who sent some pretty impressive airs and spins in his runs and last but definitely not least young gun Ismael Le Brech in 3rd place with some smooth and technical moves! watch out for this kid next year because he’s on the rise!

After this we got carried away with chilling and talking to everybody there. people hung out and some were filming clips on the park that we kinda forgot about doing a best trick and only the TrickTrack riders ended up still going for that and Oscar Le Batar took the win on that one!

It was a great day!  Thanks to all the riders and people that came over! Thanks to all the sponsors that helped to make this possible and we can’t wait till the next one! Same place, same time! See you there.”

See you next year?
