Whenever these two dudes get together, magic happens. These dudes have been buddies for so long that it seems like I can feel their biking chemistry through the screen. Seems like we’re in a state where the tarck meta is gonna start evolving more and Slum is leading the charge.
Read that name and remember it. Guillermo is a young tarck buck in LA in love with the fixed gear world. He’s got insane drive when it comes to these bikes, especially the tarck scene. One of the few kids I’ve seen come up and actually put the time and effort into tarck bikes instead of getting on a track bike and just doing wheelies. The dude has been putting in so much work that he even landed himself a frame sponsor SKREAM, well deserved. He threw together an edit for them with some sweet tarck moves. He’s been progressing like crazy lately so I’m really excited to see his riding progress this year.
Totally missed this one from last week! Matt’s been making so many videos that I can’t keep up. This is probably one of my favorites among all the sick videos he’s been making as of late. The Wheel Talk crew hits some wheelies in the streets of SF in classic Wheel Talk fashion. Still trying to figure out what malls have to do with bikes but I’m here for it.
I usually don’t find myself in LA very often, but lately has been different. LA also happens to be the newer home of Fixie legend Matt Reyes, so OF COURSE if I’m there and have my bike, I gotta hit my dude up. I got lucky one afternoon and we managed to meet up last minute as the sun was going down. We cranked out this wonderfully put together video in an hour and change, handing the camera back and forth until we couldn’t see our bars spin anymore. Sessions are always really fun with Slum and there’s never a dull moment, pushing each other to try new stuff. Stoked to do this more in the future, enjoy the video!
GAHDAMN! Chase and Jackson killed it so hard for the Constantine Tarck edit. As we all know, Chase is a madman on a bike, so of course all the skills transfer over to track. This is probably one of my favorite videos Jackson has put together too, such sick shots and edits. Reeeaally clean all around. Bolt hang 5 at the end is killer, CHECK IT.

TOTALLY missed this one when it dropped a week ago. Matt and Mike shredding tarck bikes around industrial areas is now my new favorite genre of video. Also can we talk about Matt’s line at 0:53, like what the fuck did I just watch? Amazing!
Matt just posted up this SICK edit from a Goon Cat ride last July! This one was actually my first time making it out to one of these wheelie boy rides. It was cool to be able to mingle with a different crowd than usual and shoot the shit with some old friends. Definitely need to make it out to these more!
