Stop what you’re doing RIGHT NOW and please watch Matt’s latest edit: LOST. This is a masterpiece from front to back. Matt is a long time FGFS veteran and in the 13 years he’s been putting out videos, this one blows all of his previous parts out of the water. From the spots, to the speed, to the creativity, Matt is truly in peak form right now. Absolutely nobody is riding the way he does. I’ve already watched this a few times and you bet I’m gonna watch it 10 more times before the year ends. Bravo Matt!

Legendary Trick Track rider 84kick recently travelled to Chile and documented the whole thing! Here’s a hefty 25 minute edit from his adventure that shows off a ton of the apparently thriving Chile fixed gear scene. Notable riders Kriss Dario, Pablo Barros, and tons more people in the mix here. Such a fun watch!
Cloud Tape 2 is officially out! Footage from the last year or so collected by Deacon’s VX. I’m loving the way he put this together. Great job Dooc Man, enjoy! If you haven’t, watch Cloud Tape 1 here!
CSK and Ruff boss man Jacob Ruff getting after it in a parking garage! Love the sequence of the parking block moving on its own. Love the creativity with the setups, such a feel good little jam.
Official recap from the competition we hosted last Saturday! Once again, HUGE thank you for everybody who showed up and shoutout to all of our sick competitors. Already looking forward to the next one. Also big thank you to Rob Trent for capturing the day!
Fixed gear veteran Michael Guntetong showed up to the event on Saturday VX in hand and captured some great highlights! Dope song choice and cut together real smooth.
Sorry, not sorry, all the content for the next few days is definitely going to involve the comp. I want to write a bit about this weekend as a whole.
Sometimes, motivation to do this fluctuates. Some weeks I feel like going hard in pushing out content and doing all this revolving SMC, and some weeks I feel the “whats the point” feeling. Next time I feel lack of motivation though, I’m going to think about this weekend. The amount of energy and hunger that’s still left in this niche scene we all know and love is absolutely thriving. From the street sessions, the house hangouts, to talking about fixed gear, the FOAD video premiere, and the competition itself, all of it has so much electricity still. I know the running half-joke is that FGFS is dead, but now I know that with a little CPR everyone comes to life.
I want to first of all thank everybody for coming out. We had people travel from all over the place just to come to this little event we put on and that’s all I could ask for from the scene. Seattle, Salt Lake City, NorCal, Inland Empire, and even Europe!
Second, I wanna thank the people and sponsors who helped make the event as smooth and as exciting as possible. Pizza, Deacon, Suzie, Jacob, Matt, Jackson, Calvin for the music, Kareem, Montana Ricky, Ritchie, and all the other sponsors.
Suzie tried to count everyone that came at one point, and she counted over 100 people that showed out. That beats all 5 previous years that we’ve been throwing competitions. I don’t know about you, but that is incredibly motivating.
Anyways, thanks for reading. My heart is full. Here’s some pictures from mostly my phone and some other’s phones from the whole weekend. We’ll be back next year but hopefully I don’t need to wait a whole year to see most of you guys. Stay tuned for our official video recap!
